A virgin forest in the middle of Germany

The Hainich National Park, UNESO world heritage site since 2011, enchants by its fascinating, unspoiled landscape with rare fauna and flora. Thus the motto is: “Let Nature be Nature“. Being a beech deciduous mixed forest, it is unique at any time of the year – whether at the time of ransom blossoms in spring or with its bright colours in autumn. The National Park is embedded in the even more diversified Nature Park of Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal.
